Use Your CAPS Funding to Buy Waterproof Bedding

Use Your CAPS Funding to Buy Waterproof Bedding — From Any Supplier You Choose

What is CAPS?
The Continence Aids Payment Scheme (CAPS) is an Australian Government program that gives eligible people up to $717.10 per year (2025–26) to help cover the cost of continence products — including waterproof bedding protection.

Unlike NDIS, CAPS payments go directly into your bank account. You can then spend that money with any supplier you choose — including Bedding For All.

Who is eligible for CAPS?
You may be eligible if you:
• Are 5 years of age or older
• Are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Have permanent and severe bladder or bowel incontinence
• Have an eligible neurological or other medical condition confirmed by a registered health professional

Note: If you are already receiving continence funding through the NDIS, you are generally not also eligible for CAPS. If you're unsure, call the National Continence Helpline on 1800 330 066 — it's free and confidential.

What can you buy with CAPS funding?
You can use your CAPS payment to purchase any continence products you need — including:
✓ Waterproof mattress protectors
✓ Waterproof wetting mats and bed pads
✓ Waterproof pillowcases
✓ Waterproof doona covers
✓ Incontinence sheets and underpads

All of these products are available right here at Bedding For All — with free shipping on orders over $100 and Australia-wide delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions — CAPS Funding

Q: Can I use CAPS to buy from Bedding For All specifically?
A: Yes. The Australian Government allows you to purchase continence products from any supplier of your choice using your CAPS payment. There is no restriction on which store or brand you use.

Q: Do I need to show you proof of my CAPS eligibility?
A: No. Your CAPS payment is deposited into your bank account and you simply shop with us as you would normally. No special paperwork is required on our end.

Q: What if my CAPS payment doesn't cover the full cost?
A: You can top up the difference yourself using any payment method. Many customers use their CAPS payment as a contribution toward a larger order.

Q: Can I get CAPS and also use NDIS?
A: Generally, if your NDIS plan already includes continence support funding, you cannot also receive CAPS for the same purpose. However, if your NDIS plan does not include continence support, you may be eligible for CAPS. Contact the National Continence Helpline on 1800 330 066 for guidance specific to your situation.

Q: I don't have NDIS or CAPS. Can I still buy from you?
A: Absolutely. Our products are available to everyone. We also stock our waterproof bedding range for families, aged care, and general use. Free shipping applies on orders over $100 Australia-wide.

Q: How do I apply for CAPS?
A: Visit servicesaustralia.gov.au/continence-aids-payment-scheme or call the CAPS team on 1800 239 309 Monday to Friday. You can also apply online through your Medicare account on myGov.
